About Wairarapa
An Expressions tailor-made holiday to Wairarapa is the chance to witness one of New Zealand’s rural gems. New Zealand's Wairarapa region stretches from the Rimutaka Range east of Wellington further eastwards to the Pacific coast and includes some of the most remote coastal areas of the North Island but within what is primarily a sheep-raising district of grassy hills bordered by the pine-clad distant Tararua mountains, there are the low-lying vineyards of Martinborough, producing excellent pinot noir, Cape Palliser with its seal colony, and the historic town of Greytown.
