Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
The world-famous Venice Simplon-Orient-Express offers elegance and luxury on a range of selected routes throughout Europe. The journey starts from London on the famous British Pullman train and takes you as far as Folkestone, where you travel on Eurotunnel to Calais to board the continental Orient-Express. This iconic, luxury train travels from Calais to Paris and then overnight to Venice on a regular basis, as well as to other destinations in Europe such as Vienna, Budapest, Krakow, Dresden and Istanbul on certain dates throughout the year.
Al Andalus
Al Andalus is a spacious and luxurious hotel on wheels in coaches that date from the 1920s which operates in southern Spain, offering a selection of journeys throughout the country which include accommodation and meals on board the train as well a programme of excursions. Cabins convert from comfortable day-cabins to bedrooms, with either twin beds or a double bed and all have en-suite shower room.
The Ghan
The Ghan is a luxury train that crosses the continent of Australia from Adelaide to Darwin through Alice Springs. On-board you find sumptuous dining, elegant private cabins, attentive service whilst outside the windows you view the dramatic landscape of central Australia. Depending on the journey you take, there are side excursions too along the way. Adelaide to Darwin or vice versa takes three days with two nights on board. Adelaide to Alice Springs or vice versa takes two days with one night on board. Darwin to Alice Springs or vice versa also takes two days with one night on board.
The Indian Pacific
The Indian Pacific is a luxury train that takes you from Australia’s Perth to Sydney (or vice versa) via Adelaide on a spectacular lateral crossing of 4352km in total from the Indian Ocean to the Pacific. You witness mountain ranges, arid deserts, goldfields, rocky valleys and subtropical savannah. This fabled journey takes four days with three nights spent on the train. You can also travel from Sydney to Adelaide or vice versa with one night spent on the train. Adelaide to Perth or vice versa is a journey of three days with two nights spent on the train.
The Great Southern
The Great Southern is the newest luxury train in Australia and covers the dramatic coastline and interior from Adelaide to Brisbane via Canberra. This Eastern Explorer journey takes three days with two nights on board. It covers the wild scenery of the Grampians, you see the art and culinary culture of Canberra, visit the picturesque coastal town of Coffs Harbour and enjoy the scenery of northern New South Wales. The journey from Brisbane to Adelaide takes four days with three nights on board and detours to Port Stephens, Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road.
