Highlights of Switzerland and Austria by train

This 9 night rail holiday allows you to discover the stunning Alpine scenery of Switzerland and Austria, visiting some key destinations in both countries. Travel firstly to Lausanne, a city with stunning mountain views which is located on the shores of Lake Geneva, then on to Chur, a city in the Rhine Valley which is known as the oldest in Switzerland. From here, continue to Innsbruck, the Austrian capital of the Tyrol region, then finally to the cultural city of Vienna. Spend two nights in each of these destinations, before taking a night train back to London.

We include a Swiss Pass with your rail holiday, which entitles you to unlimited travel by train, bus and boat within Switzerland, and even allows you to travel into neighbouring Lichtenstein. This means that during your free time in Lausanne and Chur you can explore the local area and see even more of the stunning Alpine scenery.
