Travel
Travel arrangements for our holidays to Africa and the Middle East are usually a combination of scheduled flights, local flights for safaris, hire-car and private transfers.
Airlines
We have worked with British Airways for many years and include their scheduled flights in our basic holiday prices if possible. Other airlines are offered including Emirates, Oman Air, Virgin Atlantic and South African Airways.
Local transport
Private car transfers are included with our hotel holidays. For touring holidays in South Africa, we will include a hire-car for the days you are travelling. For safaris, local flights that may be scheduled or shared charters are included.

Dubai is cradled between the waters of the Gulf, the desert, and the Al Hajar mountains– one of the seven United Arab Emirates – is a truly fascinating blend of the ancient traditions of Arabia and the Bedouin, the influence of Islam, and a thriving, modern commercialism. Even at the beginning of this century, the way of life in Dubai had hardly changed over hundreds of years and was centred around merchants from Iran and India, Bedouins traversing the desert from wadi to oasis, spices and gold being traded.
