Expressions Holidays creates tailor-made, luxury festive breaks to European cities. We offer centrally located hotels of comfort and character, ideal as a base for rest, relaxation and exploration over the festive season. Christmas is usually quieter in Europe with a special meal offered on Christmas Eve in the evening or at lunchtime on Christmas Day. If a hotel does not have its own restaurant, we can make suggestions, and pre-booking would be required in any case. Most places of interest are open except on Christmas Day and, of course, their usual weekly closing day. New Year is always a much more boisterous affair and places may get very booked very early on – both hotels and restaurants. On this page you’ll find just a selection of some of the hotels we work with in European cities, recommended for the festive season.
