Luxury bespoke holidays and tours to Qualia Hamilton Island, Queensland

Nestled into the northern tip of Hamilton Island, Qualia is a luxurious resort surrounded by the unsurpassed beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. Only guests aged 16 or over are accepted here maintaining an adults-only resort. There are 60 individual pavilions, all of which have views of the Whitsundays and some pavilions have plunge pools. There is also the Beach House, a spacious hideaway retreat. The two restaurants offer a choice of fine dining or a more relaxed, informal atmosphere and both use fresh, local produce. Guests can enjoy the use of two pools and the exclusive spa, featuring a variety of detoxifying and cleansing treatments, as well as a yoga and meditation pavilion. The world's largest coral reef, the Great Barrier Reef, is a popular day trip and cruises and helicopter flights are also available. With its distinctly Australian style, combined with a secluded location and excellent service, qualia is a truly unique experience.

The journey and how you get there

For a holiday to the Qualia on Hamilton Island, Expressions Holidays includes flights from London to Australia with British Airways or Qantas and then onward domestic flights with Qantas to Hamilton Island Airport. All international airports in Australia are served by a wide variety of international airlines and we can include other airlines in your holiday. The chosen airline will depend upon any stopovers you might want to make en-route to Australia. Hamilton Island Airport can be reached from Sydney (2 hours), Melbourne (3 hours), Brisbane (90 minutes) or Cairns (70 minutes). Qualia is then reached by a complimentary island transfer. Alternatively, Hamilton Island can be reached by ferry from Port Airlie.
