All of the suites at Southern Ocean lodge feature lavish king beds, a sunken lounge, a dramatic glass-surround bathroom and outdoor terrace with occasional seating and daybed. Other features include a walk-in wardrobe, complimentary room bar, optional climate control, heated floors, wireless internet, music system, premium amenities, safe and telephone.

Flinders Suite This is the smallest of the suites, featuring spacious interiors, king or twin beds, curved sunken lounge and outdoor terrace with a day bed to take advantage of the coastal views
Ocean retreat Generously spacious, this suite offers a fireplace, a freestanding tub and a terrace with a day bed
Ocean Premium Perfect for families, this suite features an additional bedroom and bathroom, with a separate living area and LCD TV with a DVD player
Remarkable Suite A perfect luxury retreat for couples wanting a private slice of Kangaroo Island. With a separate lounge area with open fire, a premium entertainment system, spacious ensuite with a timber bath tub, and expansive outdoor terrace with day lounge and spa bath.

The journey and how you get there

Air Regional Express (Rex) offer up to three daily flights from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island Kingscote (KGC). Flight time is approximately 30 minutes, and a 15kg luggage limit per person applies, with excess luggage to be stored at Adelaide Airport at a nominal fee. QantasLink offer flights five days a week from Adelaide to Kingscote, and 3 days a week (summer season only) from Melbourne to Kingscote. Flight time is approximately 30 minutes from Adelaide or 90 minutes from Melbourne. A 23kg luggage limit per person applies, but airport storage is available at a nominal fee. Private Air Charters, Helicopter transfers, or a ferry, are also available upon request.You will be met on arrival by complimentary transfer to Southern Ocean Lodge. Journey time is just 50 minutes from Kingscote. Please note that private car hire is also available on Kangaroo Island.
