Luxury bespoke holidays to LUX* Le Morne, Mauritius

Located on the south-western, sunset edge of Mauritius, LUX* Le Morne sits amidst landscaped gardens with the striking Le Morne peak as its backdrop, protecting it from tradewinds. This charming five star resort has a long beach front with the rooms set a little way back in the landscaping of the lush gardens (the superior rooms) or closer to the beach front, (the honeymoon, prestige and ocean junior suites). Junior suites and prestige junior suites can interconnect. At the centre of LUX* Le Morne is the reception, dining, bar and one of the swimming pools and then the accommodation fans out either side of there. The chalet style rooms are all sea facing and there is an elegant, romantic atmosphere to the resort. There are secluded seating areas and the four swimming pools are located throughout the length of the resort. At one end of LUX* Le Morne's 600 metre beach is the diving centre and at the other end is the boat house and the Mediterranean-style Beach restaurant, open for lunch and A la Carte dinner. The main restaurant is called The Kitchen and here breakfast, lunch and a buffet and menu style dinner are served. There are is also Nipa, an authentic Thai a la Carte restaurant. LUX* Le Morne has a super range of Spa, land and water sports to keep you busy and for families, there is a kids and teen club with a range of activities for children aged 3 to 11 and teens 12 to 17 years. Nearby you can play golf and mountain bikes can be hired from the hotel. LUX* Le Morne is a charming resort, in a beautiful corner of Mauritius, that ticks all the boxes in terms of a quality environment, long beach front, a choice of dining, a range of different types of accommodation, appealing to romantic couples and honeymooners as well as families.

The flying time is about 12 hours. There are flights with other international airlines, for example Air Mauritius from London both direct and via Paris or Amsterdam and Emirates with departures from London and UK regional airports via Dubai. Lux* Le Morne is about 1 hour and 15 minutes by car from the airport and Expressions Holidays will arrange a private car transfer.

Minimum stays: A minimum stay of 3 nights all year round.

Children: Children are very welcome. One child or one teen may be accommodated extra in all accommodation types except from the Junior Suite Sunset. Reductions apply to children sharing their own room. Children under the age of 6 stay free of charge when sharing with parents and children aged 6 to 11 stay free of charge on a bed and breakfast basis when sharing with parents.
