The hotel interiors are light, airy and understated, the neutral wooden floors and clean white furnishings allowing the lush tropical greenery and turquoise ocean views to take centre stage. The vast, white sands of Beau Vallon are right on your doorstep and the beach has something for everyone, from water sports and exotic marine life to gorgeous crystal-clear waters that can simply be enjoyed from the shore. Snorkelers can see corals, moray eels, sea turtles and even shipwrecks at the numerous snorkelling sites in the Seychelles. Anse Major is nearest to the hotel, just an hour’s hike or a short taxi ride away. Alternatively, take a boat from Victoria to Ste. Anne Marine Park to see mantra rays and an abundance of exotic fish in this non-fishing area. Meanwhile, in land, there are 12 hiking routes through Mahé’s tropical forests, all of which vary in length and difficulty but offer equally breath taking panoramic views. Hike to Morne Seychellois National Park and try to spot a scope owl, kestrel, or black parrot or take the popular Mission Lodge Trail to explore the history and culture of the Seychelles and stand where Queen Elizabeth once sat for afternoon tea. In between discovering the island, guests can find inner peace in the tranquil Savoy Spa and indulge in personally tailored treatments and top of the range facilities, from the Ice Fountain Hammam to the couples’ private whirlpool hot tub. As well as the Yoga and Pilates pavilion, the spa also runs Yoga tours to guide guests towards finding inner balance and peace. At all four hotel restaurants, Savoy guests receive a 10% discount on the myriad of mouth-watering dishes, which take influences from Italy, India, the Middle East and local Seychelles flavours. About Seychelles
An Expressions tailor-made holiday to the Seychelles is really the tropical island of your dreams come to life; a deserted, soft white-sand beach lapped by gentle, turquoise water and fringed by dense coconut palms. The Seychelles are some of the most beautiful islands in the world and due to careful growth, this natural beauty has been protected and preserved. On land the Seychelles are home to rare species of bird and tree, including the amazing coco de mer palm and the black parrot, as well as abundant orchids, hibiscus, frangipani and bougainvillaea. In the seas surrounding the islands of the Seychelles, many areas of which have been designated marine national parks, over 150 species of tropical fish are to be found as well as abundant coral. The pace of life is slow and relaxed, even on Mahe but particularly on the smaller islands. The Seychelles is also known for its racial harmony and their people are a mixture of African, European, Indian, Chinese and Arab. The beauty of the islands and the relaxed way of life have attracted artists over the years and today you are more than welcome to visit them at home and in their studios. A luxury holiday to the Seychelles offers you not just the archetypal idyll of palm-fringed beaches but also a relaxed and harmonious approach to life.
