 A new resort on the east coast of Mauritius, Long Beach brings carefree piazza-style living to the longest and widest stretch of white-sand coastline of any Mauritian resort. Beyond the beach, the tropical lagoon with its crystal clear blue waters is a snorkelling paradise. The main focus of the resort is the urban-style piazza with restaurants, shops and bars. Architecture is softened by local detailing and materials and integrates with the extensive tropical gardens. The rooms are arranged in three crescents and every room has a view of the ocean. Chic, contemporary designs blend indoor and open-air living. Long Beach offers a great variety of eating experiences ranging from Asian to relaxed beach chic. There are four restaurants on the Piazza, with outdoor and indoor seating, and another restaurant on the beach. The resort offers a huge range of pastimes and facilities from the most active to the most relaxed. Water sports include diving, snorkelling, water-skiing and sailing, whilst on land there is a gym, tennis courts, yoga classes, archery and a cycling track. Long Beach guests have preferential access to Le Touessrok Golf course on Ile aux Cerfs, reached by a free shuttle every day. For some pampering, Sea Spa offers treatments developed by French-based Thal'ion and opening a whole new world of senses and experiences. For children, Angels Kids' Club runs age-appropriate activities, twelve hours a day. Kids can enjoy tennis, windsurfing and swimming clinics and it has its own pool. The journey and how you get there

For a holiday to Long Beach in Mauritius, Expressions Holidays includes flights from London to Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport with British Airways direct. The flying time is about 12 hours. There are flights with other international airlines, for example Air Mauritius from London both direct and via Paris or Amsterdam and Emirates with departures from London and UK regional airports via Dubai. Long Beach is about 40 minutes by car from the airport and Expressions Holidays will arrange a private car transfer.
