Luxury bespoke holidays and tours to Chateau d'Isenbourg, Alsace
The magnificent Château d`Isenbourg is a luxurious 4 star hotel. The Château d`Isenbourg is run with care and charm to create a friendly atmosphere in top quality surroundings. There are comfortable lounges with an open fire place, a cosy bar with an excellent range of vintage cognacs and armagnacs and both a panoramic and a cellar restaurant. The bedrooms vary in size from standard rooms to large suites, however, all rooms are furnished to a very high standard, decorated individually to enhance the original features (such as painted ceilings, for example) and located in the chateau. In the new wing, built entirely in keeping with the original chateau, there is a large indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi with panoramic windows affording views of the vineyards, fitness room, sauna and Turkish bath. In the grounds of the Chateau d`Isenbourg is also an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. In the summer months, lunch and aperitifs are served on the lawn at the front of the chateau. At various times in the winter months, the Chateau d`Isenbourg hotel holds its own musical and themed soirees, perhaps a jazz evening or a Diner Russe aux Chandelles.

About Alsace
An Expressions tailor-made holiday to Alsace enables you to visit both the northern Vosges and the cultivated quaintness of the Alsatian Wine Road during your holiday in the region. With its combination of stunning natural scenery in the wooded hills and valleys of the Vosges mountains, with ruins of mediaeval fortresses and fortified villages, with gently sloping vineyards facing the Rhine valley and with fairy-tale like towns of pretty half-timbered houses and cobbled streets, Alsace is a region well worth visiting. Standing at the crossroads of Europe, Alsace encapsulates an unmistakeably European flavour where historic and cultural influences of its French and German neighbours have created a unique atmosphere with an independent character and great traditions.
Highlights of Alsace
Sample Choucroute and Gugelhupf, Wine and Beer, the Cherry festivals in May, the festival of Son et Lumiere at Strasbourg cathedral in the summer, the Wine festivals in the autumn, and the Christmas markets towards the end of the year.
