Despite its St Jean Cap Ferrat address, Hotel Royal Riviera is only a few minutes' walk away from the centre of Beaulieu with its casino, restaurants and shops. The Hotel Royal Riviera, a pink washed building in the style of a Grand Hôtel, was completely refurbished a few years ago and really is an oasis of calm and relaxation. The Belle Époque style interior has been replaced by a chic, contemporary feel with Hellenistic overtones inspired by the nearby Villa Kerylos. Its gardens are lush with ancient palms, lawns and flower beds, whilst the spacious pool and terrace surround are exotic. Its private sandy beach with watersports and private pier is a real bonus. At the Hotel Royal Riviera there is an elegant lounge, a cosy bar, a terrace where meals are served and a panoramic restaurant. In the summer months grills are served outside by the pool in the Pergola restaurant. The Hotel Royal Riviera has 95 very comfortable bedrooms and suites, the majority of which have sea view, usually at an angle. Redecorated in harmonious shades of aubergine, olive and mustard, the bedrooms are air conditioned, have private bathrooms with bathrobes, television, telephone and mini bar. A new building `L`Orangerie`, was added in 2002, where spacious suites and rooms are decorated in pastel colours. The Hotel Royal Riviera exudes a chic style and a timeless fashionableness. It is excellent as a long stay summer holiday destination and also as a place for a relaxing and rejuventating out of season break. The journey and how you get there

For a holiday to the Hotel Royal Riviera, our clients fly to Nice and then usually have the use of a hire-car for the duration of the holiday, or they arrive in their own car on a self-drive holiday, often as part of a multi-centre touring holiday (we would include a Eurotunnel crossing or a ferry crossing, depending on the itinerary), or they arrive by train, having taken the Eurostar London to Paris or Lille, and then the TGV to Nice. From the railway station, if you are visiting more than one hotel or want to explore the region, we recommend having a hire-car. If you are just staying at one hotel, you may not require a hire-car and in that case we recommend that you take a taxi from the airport or station, or ask us to book a private transfer for you.

Additional information

Minimum stays: A minimum stay of 3 nights is required for stays during July and August, and a minimum stay of 5 nights for Suite stays during July and August.

Children: Children under 14 years stay free of charge when sharing parents' Deluxe Rooms and Suites. A kids' programme runs at the hotel, offering welcome gifts, a kids' menu, various indoor and outdoor activities and a wide selection of ice cream from the pool bar. Infants 3 and under eat free.

Other information: Access to the private beach is limited to May-September and outdoor swimming pool is weather and season permitting. Small dogs of 5kg and below are permitted in the hotel though they are not allowed access to the restaurant, private beach or swimming pool.
