The journey and how you get there
For a holiday to Grand Hotel du Cap, our clients fly to Nice and then usually have the use of a hire-car for the duration of the holiday, or they arrive in their own car on a self-drive holiday, often as part of a multi-centre touring holiday (we would include a Eurotunnel crossing or a ferry crossing, depending on the itinerary), or they arrive by train, having taken the Eurostar London to Paris or Lille, and then the TGV to Nice. From the railway station, if you are visiting more than one hotel or want to explore the region, we recommend having a hire-car. If you are just staying at one hotel, you may not require a hire-car and in that case we recommend that you take a taxi from the airport or station, or ask us to book a private transfer for you.

About Cote d'Azur
An Expressions tailor-made holiday to the Côte d'Azur is an ideal destination all year round, whether for a short break out of season or for a long, lazy summer holiday. The Côte d'Azur has a magnetic attraction for the visitor from northern Europe; noted for its beautiful climate, sandy beaches, chic resorts and as home of the rich and famous, it never ceases to appeal. With its bright blue skies, shimmering heat, exotic palms and flower-scented air, open-air cafés and art galleries, the atmosphere of the region does evoke an unmistakeable joie de vivre. We believe we are offering you hotels that are either slightly tucked away from the main thoroughfares or that have irresistible charm, so that they act as a haven to which to retreat after experiencing the vibrant resorts, the beaches, the historic towns and artistic villages. A rail holiday to the Côte d'Azur is a relaxing way to travel, allowing you to travel to Nice by train before exploring the region by hire car.
