Luxury bespoke holidays and tours to Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat, St Jean Cap Ferrat
The Grand Hôtel du Cap Ferrat on the Côte d'Azur nestles peacefully on the tip of the Cap Ferrat peninsula in a private woodland park of more than 7000 square metres. This impressive hotel is set in beautiful grounds leading down to the sea, adorned with colourful flowers and immaculate lawns. Benches and deck chairs are dotted here and there and the soft sound of water fountains makes this a very tranquil and relaxing setting. The Grand Hôtel du Cap Ferrat was built in 1908 during the Belle Époque and this is reflected today in its elegant and refined style. There is great attention to detail throughout the hotel, with soft lighting, paintings and fresh flowers used to create a luxury and peaceful ambience. The hotel has 73 rooms and suites each decorated with the finest fabrics to create a cosy and relaxing feel. The walls of the Grand Hôtel du Cap Ferrat display fine works of art and the marble bathrooms create a sense of luxury. Le Cap restaurant serves inventive and original gourmet cuisine using Provençal produce including fresh vegetables and seafood combined with aromatic spices, served in peaceful luxury overlooking pine trees and the sea. Sip a cocktail at the bar and admire the impressive terrace of Le Cap; exotic trees, pretty flowers and white parasols surround the terrace and there are glorious panoramic views out to sea. The sea dominates the horizon at the Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat and what better place to appreciate this than at the Club Dauphin, the Olympic-sized, heated sea-side swimming pool reached by an air-conditioned funicular. At the Club Dauphin there are private cabanas along the rocky shoreline for privacy, armchairs with umbrellas, direct access to the sea, a kids' pool and an informal restaurant open for lunch, drinks and snacks in the daytime. The spacious grounds also boast two tennis courts and a jogging track, and bicycles are available to explore the local area. The Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat is a stylish hotel with outstanding views and an atmosphere exuding elegance and luxury.

The journey and how you get there
For a holiday to Grand Hotel du Cap, our clients fly to Nice and then usually have the use of a hire-car for the duration of the holiday, or they arrive in their own car on a self-drive holiday, often as part of a multi-centre touring holiday (we would include a Eurotunnel crossing or a ferry crossing, depending on the itinerary), or they arrive by train, having taken the Eurostar London to Paris or Lille, and then the TGV to Nice. From the railway station, if you are visiting more than one hotel or want to explore the region, we recommend having a hire-car. If you are just staying at one hotel, you may not require a hire-car and in that case we recommend that you take a taxi from the airport or station, or ask us to book a private transfer for you.
